Danielle Wingo is currently the SC Upstate Lead Regional Operations Director at the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control. She has worked in the public and private healthcare industry for 18 plus years, gaining expertise in quality improvement, process analysis, healthcare operations, and healthcare management. Her educational background from Clemson University focused on Psychology and Nutrition/Dietetics but as a seasoned Quality Improvement Director and Regional Operations Director for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, she found her main passion surrounds advancing the future of Public Health and Mental Health in South Carolina. In addition to her resent 2 year stint as one of the state’s COVID Outbreak Response Directors she is also involved in Mental Health First Aid as an instructor and trainer. Outside of the office, Danielle can often be found splashing around in almost any nearby body of water or spending time outdoors with her husband and their 120lb German Shepherd fur baby.
