Felicia N. Pearson-Powell is the Environmental Health County Manager for the Macon-Bibb County Health Department. In this role, she leads a team of environmental health specialists who are responsible for the permitting, inspecting, and complaint follow-up of public health regulated facilities throughout Macon-Bibb and Wilkinson counties. Additionally, she serves as one of the three District Standard Trainers for food inspectors in District 5-2.
Felicia completed her undergraduate work at Paine College in Augusta, GA, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She went on to obtain a Master of Science in Biology from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, GA.
Felicia currently resides with her family in Macon. As a member of the community she serves, Felicia sees firsthand the positive impact environmental health regulations and education have on the residents of Macon-Bibb. In her spare time, Felicia enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, trying new foods, and traveling.
