Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Center

My name is Juan Neubauer, a healthcare management professional from Charlotte, North Carolina. As a first generation immigrant, and a member of the LGBT community, I bring a blend of life experiences and perspectives to my work in healthcare that is constantly driving me forward. My passion to make healthcare more accessible to underserved communities drives my constant goal of learning and growing, leading me to acquire a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, certification as a Project Management Professional as well as a certified Medical Interpreter, and currently enrolled in a graduate program for a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

My background growing up in El Salvador and Los Angeles, along with over 10 years of management experience across industries including fashion, health care, and retail, has focused me more than ever on bridging the gap between healthcare providers, and communities that historically do not have access to healthcare, especially communities with Limited English Proficiency. My work as a community health clinic manager has focused on developing durable community relationships built on trust, as well as creating partnerships across organizations to increase healthcare access for my patients.

I am excited to participate in this leadership program to learn how I can better serve my community. As well as to connect with peers who can help me grow through their experiences and strengths, and to offer my own experiences as a resource to fellow healthcare pioneers.
