Janet Langley has a passion for ensuring provision of both mental health and medical health treatment to individuals experiencing Serious Mental Illnesses and Serious Emotional Disturbances in order to treat the whole person and improve their quality of life.  Her current role is Assistant Clinical Director for Adult Outpatient services at AltaPointe Health in Mobile, Alabama, and she provides oversight of two Accordia Health FQHC locations in Mobile, Alabama .  In addition, she also serves as the Project Director for the CCBHC (Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic) grant which is instrumental in providing whole person care for the patients served by AltaPointe and is actively involved in the implementation of a PIPBHC (Promoting Integration of Primary and Behavioral Health Care) grant.

Prior to becoming involved in overseeing FQHC’s, she had over 20 years’ experience in the community mental health field and supervised programs within that continuum that assisted in supported employment, case management, housing, Stepping Up initiatives, in addition to therapy for both children and adults. 

Janet holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from the University of South Alabama.  She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervising Counselor for the state of Alabama.

Janet currently resides with her husband, Danny in Mobile, AL.  She enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing the piano, cooking, and hiking in the mountains in the Fall.
