Daphne Hamilton is a Public Health Program Coordinator with United South & Eastern Tribes located in Nashville, TN. USET is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to enhancing the development of federally recognized Tribal Nations throughout the south eastern region of the United States. In this role, Daphne assists in the development and management of public health programs and projects for USET member Tribes. Daphne gears to improving the overall general health of Tribal populations by ensuring that all timelines and budgets are adhered to as they are developed and implemented.
Daphne is knowledgeable with Indian Country as she is a citizen of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, located in Atmore, Alabama, which is a USET member tribe.
Prior to this position with USET, Daphne was employed with the Poarch Band of Creek Indians where she obtained her experience in management and project implementation. Daphne was honored to have had the opportunity to take part in the startup of one of her Tribe’s Casino properties Wind Creek Hospitality located in Atmore, Alabama. In just a few short years, this has become one of the most respected and fastest growing brands in the gaming industry.
Daphne holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Management from Faulkner University located in Montgomery, Alabama. She also has a certificate of completion for Managing Federal Grants and Cooperative Agreement for Recipients. Daphne constantly participates in trainings and workshops to continue her education.
