I have lived in Western Kentucky my entire life. I am a graduate of Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communication. I have worked in the medical field for 12 years, with the last 4 of those being in public health. My public health career started in our local health department clinic and I knew immediately that I had a passion for public health and helping others. I am currently the accreditation coordinator for the health department. My other responsibilities include overseeing quality improvement and performance management projects. I recently became the Vice-Chair of the Marshall County Health Collation and serve as chair of the Access to Care Workgroup. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 13 years and my 12-year son. We love to kayak, camp, hike, and I also enjoy sewing and running.
