Lindsey Ferraro, MPH, is an epidemiologist in the Infectious Diseases & Outbreaks Division at the Alabama Department of Public Health. In her current role, Miss Ferraro leads in-state and multi-state foodborne outbreak investigations, co-leads the Alabama One Health Work Group, and supports wastewater testing. Miss Ferraro graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Master of Public Health in epidemiology in 2021. She completed graduate certificate in food safety from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2023. Miss Ferraro is also an alumna of the CSTE Applied Epidemiology Fellowship program (Class XIX), where she was placed at the Tennessee Department of Health in the Foodborne and Enteric Diseases Program.
