Lindsey Dierenfield is an Epidemiologist with the Kentucky Department for Public Health, specializing in HIV/AIDS prevention. She works to analyze data, monitor trends, and develop evidence-based strategies that support prevention, early diagnosis, and improved health outcomes for individuals and communities affected by HIV.

Lindsey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Women’s and Ethnic Studies from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), where she developed a strong interdisciplinary foundation in understanding the intersections of health, identity, and social justice. This academic background continues to inform her approach to epidemiology, helping her integrate both quantitative data and community perspectives into her work. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Eastern Kentucky University (EKU).

Lindsey combines her technical expertise in data analysis with a human-centered lens to promote inclusive, culturally responsive public health solutions. Her career goal is to continue advancing evidence-based, community-driven strategies that improve health equity and quality of life for vulnerable populations.
