Since joining the Mississippi State Department of Health in 2000, Jonathan has worked in a variety of capacities within the Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response, and as Administrator of Public Health District V. Jonathan currently serves as the Administrator of Mississippi’s Northern Public Health Region. Prior to joining MSDH, Jonathan was employed for over a decade in the corporate business sector.
Jonathan has a B.A. in accounting from Mississippi College, and an MBA from LSU-Shreveport. He is also is a Certified Public Manager, a graduate of the South Central Public Health Leadership Institute, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Managers.
