TraVonda Pirtle, PA-C is the Director of Quality Improvement at Rural Health Group, which is a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC) with 17 sites in Northeastern North Carolina serving more than 34,000 patients. She started this role in April 2022 after practicing medicine as a Physician Assistant for 12 years.
TraVonda has an extensive background in Family Practice, Pain Management, Women’s Health and Men’s Health. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from Middle Tennessee State University. TraVonda obtained her master’s in medical science degree for Physician Assistants from Wake Forest University in 2010.
TraVonda is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and is board-certified and recertified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
