Valerie Moore is a young professional with excellent academic credentials and developing experience in the field of public health and clinical services administration. Currently, she is gaining direct experience in budgeting and grant management, new program development and evaluation, leadership and staff management and clinical service delivery.
Valerie joined the Mobile County Health Department in 2021 as a Program Administrative Support Specialist for the Bureau of Disease Surveillance. Her work focuses on the administration of the bureau’s public health clinics.
Before entering the public health field, Valerie acquired 13 years of administrative experience in the corporate arena. Her passion for community health continues to flourish through her responsibilities and experiences at her current agency.
Valerie received both her Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Science at the University of South Alabama. She is inspired daily by her husband and their two daughters. In her free time, Valerie enjoys boating and spending time with her family.
