I am from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida but currently live in Havana, Florida.  I am a 2007 graduate of Florida A&M University where I earned my bachelor’s degree in social work and a 2011 graduate of Capella University, where I earned my master’s in counseling studies and two graduate certificates in Mental Health Counseling (2014) and Theory in couple and Family System (2018).

I have worked in Maternal Child Health for 12 plus years and Communicable disease for the past 3 and half years with the Leon County Health Department in Tallahassee, Florida. I am currently the Social Work and Counseling Coordinator and the Linkage and HIV Perinatal Coordinator for our county and regional area.

I am active member in my community with Havana Coalition for Change, New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church Health Ministry, and other community events that focuses on health, community involvement, and community change.

I am a wife and a mother of two active athletes’ volleyball and basketball.  I love to read thought provoking books with a little romance and mysterious twist and turns, I love listening to music, creating art and paintings and spending time with family, friends, and self.
